What is QSSS and what services do you provide?

QSSS is a nationally registered disability support provider delivering customised, client-led services to NDIS participants and other funding streams. We offer:

  • Onsite Shared Supports in SDA

We also provide services to self-funded clients.

The traditional disability support approach often means working around someone else’s roster, being assigned workers you didn’t choose, and receiving services the way the provider wants to deliver them. We believe that’s backwards.

Our unique model puts you in control—you choose your support workers, your roster, and how your supports are delivered. Every client is assigned a dedicated QSSS Support Specialist who manages recruitment, scheduling, feedback, and any issues, so you get consistent, personalised support.

Plus, we’re fully virtual, meaning we can respond to enquiries from any region in Australia quickly, and, instead of worrying about paying for expensive overheads, we pass on savings to you by operating below standard NDIS rates—without compromising on quality or personalisation.

Once you join QSSS, your Support Specialist will meet with you to understand your needs, preferences, and ideal team qualities. We handle recruitment and screening, then present you with suitable candidates. We encourage you to do Meet & Greets with each candidate so that you can ensure you are totally comfortable with making a decision. You make the final choice, and your selected workers will work exclusively with you.

All workers are carefully screened for qualifications, experience, and values during a structured interview process. We encourage you to participate orientation of new support workers to follow your preferences and individual support plan, so your support is delivered exactly the way you want it.

Yes. With QSSS, you’re in control. If something changes—whether it’s your schedule, your support needs, or your team—your Support Specialist will act immediately to adjust your services.

We charge below standard NDIS rates while still offering fully customised services (and above Award wages to our support workers!). Your exact costs will depend on your funding, the type of supports, and the hours you require. We can provide a clear quote after a free initial discussion.

QSSS originally stood for Queensland Support Services and Solutions, founded in South East Queensland. The name was long, so most people called us “QSSS.” As we expanded nationally, we rebranded to just QSSS—keeping the “Q” as a nod to our Queensland heritage but giving the brand a fresh, national identity.

Fun fact: The “Q” in our logo is shaped like a wheelchair, honouring our founder, who used a wheelchair, and our commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
